After savoring a delicious breakfast, we’ll embark on a morning drive through the captivating highlands of Ha Giang. The landscape becomes increasingly mesmerizing, with lofty passes and majestic mountains all around. Notable photo opportunities await at Quan Ba Pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where a short climb leads to a panoramic viewpoint atop a scenic hill. We’ll pause for lunch in Yen Minh town.

The afternoon drive is nothing short of spectacular, as our driver ensures you have ample opportunities to stop and marvel at the awe-inspiring scenery, capturing memories through your camera lens as you journey through the Karst Geopark. The Dong Van Karst Plateau is a unique blend of geological wonders and cultural heritage. Up to 80% of the karst formations in the Dong Van Plateau are limestone, shaped by environmental conditions and nature’s gradual evolution. The scenery is nothing short of breathtaking, and the local life and rich culture of hill tribes like the H’mong will leave an indelible mark on your journey. A notable stop is the Vuong family residence, still referred to as the “Palace of the Hmong King.”

Arriving at Dong Van Town, you’ll check in to your hotel and have the evening to relax and soak in the local atmosphere. Dinner will be served at the hotel, and you’ll spend the night in Dong Van.

This morning, our journey towards Meo Vac will include a stop at the breathtaking Ma Pi Leng Pass. The scenery at Ma Pi Leng Pass is nothing short of extraordinary, with its rugged and untamed beauty. From the pass, you’ll be treated to a panoramic view of thousands of gray mountains extending to the horizon. Below, the Nho Que River winds through a deep abyss, creating a mesmerizing contrast.
Continuing our drive, we’ll pass through the charming town of Meo Vac and return to Yen Minh town via a different route. The landscape remains equally impressive as you wind your way through a labyrinth of gray stone formations. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local eatery in Yen Minh.
In the afternoon, we’ll gently descend towards Ha Giang City, where you’ll check in to your hotel for the night.
